Reservation Groups
A Reservation Group links multiple reservations together — for example, rooms booked for a wedding party, a conference, or a tour group. Grouped reservations share a group ID and group name, and each member has a sequence number within the group.
See Reservations Overview for common FAQs and troubleshooting.
Access
From the sidebar: Reservation → Groups (also reachable from the group management option on the All Reservations list).
Group List
The group list shows every reservation group with its group ID (formatted as a 6-digit number), group name, and creation date. Open a group to see its member reservations.
Creating a Group
- Go to Reservation → Groups and click New Group (or add a group directly while creating/editing a reservation).
- Enter a Group Name.
- Save. The group is created with an auto-generated group ID.
A group is also created automatically the first time a reservation is saved with a new group name — you do not have to create the group first.
Adding Reservations to a Group
When creating or editing a reservation, assign it to an existing group (or create a new one by name). The reservation becomes a group member and receives the next sequence number in that group.
Editing a Group
Open the group from the list and click Edit to change the group name. Save to apply the change — it updates the name shown on every member reservation.
Deleting a Group
Open the group and click Delete. Deleting a group does not delete its member reservations; it removes the group record itself, so make sure member reservations no longer need to be grouped (or have been reassigned) before deleting.
Group Billing Note
The first reservation created in a group holds the deposit for the group; other members of the same group do not require a separate deposit.
