Reservations Overview
The Reservation module is used to create, view, edit, and manage guest reservations. It connects to guest profiles, rooms, rates, billing, and housekeeping.
All Reservations
The All Reservations list shows every booking. Use it to search, filter, create, edit, and manage reservations.
Arrivals
The Arrivals view shows all reservations with an arrival date on the selected date. Use it to prepare for check-ins, confirm room readiness, and process arrivals efficiently.
Departures
The Departures view shows all in-house reservations with a departure date on the selected date. Use it to prepare folios, process check-outs, and hand rooms back to housekeeping.
Waitlist
Waitlist is not a separate booking queue โ it is a status you place on an existing reservation when it can't be confirmed yet (no suitable room/rate available). There is no separate "waitlist request" record independent of a reservation; you must create the reservation first, then mark it Waitlist.
Cancellations
The Cancellations view lists all cancelled reservations. Use it to review cancellation history, filter by reason or date, and manage cancellation records.
Reservation Confirmation Letter
The Reservation Confirmation Letter is a printable document sent to the guest to confirm their booking. It shows the reservation details, stay dates, room type, rate, and property contact information.
Billing (Guest Folio)
The Billing module is the full folio management workspace for a reservation. It shows all charges, payments, and folio details for a selected reservation, and lets you post charges, take payments, split or transfer items, adjust amounts, void transactions, and print folios.
Registration Form
The Registration Form is a printable/emailable guest check-in document. It contains the guest's personal details, stay information, and a signature line for the guest to sign on paper at check-in.
Reservation Groups
A Reservation Group links multiple reservations together โ for example, rooms booked for a wedding party, a conference, or a tour group. Grouped reservations share a group ID and group name, and each member has a sequence number within the group.
Registration Card
The Registration Card is an editable, signed check-in record stored against the reservation โ distinct from the printable Registration Form. Where the Registration Form is a document you print or email, the Registration Card is an on-screen form where staff can adjust the guest's details and capture the guest's (and an accompanying guest's) signature digitally before printing.
